Newsletter Subscription Agreement

1. Agreement to Terms

By subscribing to the email newsletter provided by the Pilot Mountain Outreach Center, an operating division of S.E.A.M.S. Ministries, Inc. (collectively referred to as “the Center,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Newsletter Terms of Service (“Newsletter Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not subscribe to our newsletter distribution list.

2. Description of Service

By subscribing, you affirm that you are at least 13 years of age. In compliance with children’s privacy regulations, individuals under 13 may not subscribe to our digital newsletters, and parents or legal guardians may not register a subscription on behalf of a child under 13. You agree to provide accurate, active, and valid basic contact details including a personal email address that belongs to you. You may not register a subscription using an automated script, bot, or an unauthorized third-party email address.

If you encounter any technical issues with the automated unsubscribe button, you may contact us directly via email at [email protected]. Please allow up to seven (7) business days for our administrative team to manually process your request and remove your details from our distribution list.

5. Content and Intellectual Property Rights

All informational updates, photographs, graphic elements, text copies, layout designs, logos, and materials shared within our newsletter campaigns are the exclusive intellectual property of the Pilot Mountain Outreach Center and S.E.A.M.S. Ministries, Inc., unless otherwise credited. You may not reproduce, sell, modify, or commercially distribute newsletter contents without obtaining our express, written prior authorization.

6. Service Discontinuation and Modification

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify, suspend, or permanently discontinue our newsletter distribution service at any time without notice. We are not liable to any subscriber or third party for any interruption or cancellation of the newsletter service. We also reserve the right to remove any subscriber email address from our distribution list at our absolute discretion, without providing a reason or notice.

7. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties

Our newsletter service is provided strictly on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no guarantees or warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or delivery reliability of the contents provided in our messages. We implement reasonable and appropriate security steps relative to our organization’s size, including industry-standard data encryption methods, to protect our distribution networks. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Center disclaims all liability for any damages, electronic transmission delays, or technical errors resulting from your subscription to or reliance upon our email communications.

8. Governing Law and Legal Venue

These Newsletter Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action or formal dispute arising directly or indirectly out of these terms or your newsletter subscription shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts serving Surry County, North Carolina.

9. Updates to These Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Newsletter Terms at any time. Any updates will be communicated by revising the Updated date listed at the top of this page. Your continued status as a subscriber following any published modifications constitutes your explicit acceptance of the revised terms.
